As advertising (97%) accounts for the majority of revenue, shopping and creator subscriptions generate a relatively small portion.


Instagram Shopping facilitates the connection between shoppers and customers by providing product display and shopping capabilities, including checkout options and order fulfillment. Subsequently, sellers are responsible for logistics and support systems. However, there are certain challenges associated with shopping on Instagram.


  1. To address these challenges, we propose implementing an AI-driven solution. This solution would introduce a button on every post, which would manually detect objects. The Instagram AI would then assist users in describing the type of object and provide information on which seller is selling it on Instagram or on a website.



  2. We would create a separate shopping section where users can search for any category of product. The shopping section would display recommended products based on users’ likes, posts, or reels.



  3. Added live story feature on explore page where user interest product would be sold live where quality product and trustworthy creators would be sold. In order for businessmen to be known by new users, it would be beneficial for them.
